Naval personnel forming the majority of the INPA database have undergone intensive training and have extensive hands-on experience between 10-15 years at the time of leaving Navy. Under the government’s Skill India initiative to recognise prior learning and help bridge the skill gap where required, our personnel are provided skill certification at the time of retirement. Officers undergo customised management courses at IIMs and other top management training institutes. Sailors undergo special skill certification courses towards end of the career in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and are certified in various industrial job profiles
